Locrio
This dish heralds from Nelson's youth; he enjoyed
this dish at a friend's home, while in Santo
Domingo, prepared by his friend's mother, and he
decided to share the fine dining experience with
patrons of Sabrosura Restaurant. This Dominican
home-style rice dish, which consists of chorizo
sausage,
shrimp and chicken cooked in Latin-style yellow
rice and served on a sizzling hot platter; it is a
very popular item and is now one of Sabrosura's
genuine signature dishes.
Arroz Amarillo con Chorizo (Yellow Rice
with Sausage) A traditional Latin-style yellow
rice dish made with sliced Chorizo sausage,
cooked and served to the table in a covered hot
pot.
Arroz con Calamares (Squid with Rice)
Another traditional rice dish, this one a
Spanish-style dish made from taking squid and
cooking it in rice tinted with its own ink, and
then served on a sizzling hot plate, just like the
