Sabrosura has been featured in several dinning magazines & guides, as well as newspapers
and many other culinary articles. Below is a partial list.

In the Culinary Adventures section of the June 9th, 2004 New York Post, the, "Best of both worlds," article highlights several Asian-Latino fusion restaurants in the NY Metropolitan region. Sabrosura is selected for, "Best Chinese-Dominican Seafood!" According to the article, "Chinese-born Nelson Ng, owner of Sabrosura, lived in Santo Domingo for 7 years before coming to New York and opening this restaurant in 1982. His seasonings, inspired by China, the Dominican Republic and The Bronx, reflect his travels. House seafood dishes, like camaronfongo (a mixture of shrimp and fried mashed plantaines) or the renowned Orange Roughy broiled in garlic, butter and paprika, make this one of The Bronx's best-kept secrets." Of all the restaurants featured, Sabrosura is the only one that is in the Bronx!
We have been featured in Time Out New York's 2003 and 2004 Eating & Drinking Guides: "...Today, it's a Bronx Legend....You can get anything from stuffed clams (neither soggy nor dry) and a Dominican mofongo (a mash of fried plantains, garlic and either shellfish or chicken) to the surprisingly excellent bone-in sweet and sour pork chops..."
On page 10 of the July 2004 Edition of the bilingual Viva New York section of the Daily News, Sabrosura was among the restaurants highlighted. "The deliciousness that this Castle Hill restaurant boasts in its name is no exaggeration...The seafood asopao, chock-full of clams, thumb-sized shrimps and generous chunks of lobster in a brightly spiced broth, ranks among the all-time delicious soups... The varied menu, fast service and moderate prices make this a great destination for families."

Also, we were listed on The Village Voice's Top 100 Best & Cheapest Latin Restaurants (May 7-13, 2003). This article highlights the best values in NY for all types of Spanish, Latin and even Portuguese and Filipino establishments!
